Hey I just bought some products from mbs.com and I wanted to post reviews.

Heel Straps:
Pros: Helps a lot with spins and your feet will never come out.

Cons: Makes you feel strapped in.  Takes some getting used to.  Have to take them off to walk up a hill.

Bottom Line:  Get these if you do spins!!!!!  If you don't, don't get them.

Hillbilly Wrist Guard Gloves:
Pros: Really cool.  Protects your wrists.  Comfortable.

Cons: None really, maybe a little expensive I guess, but it's worth it.

Bottom Line: Get them, they're awesome.

MBS Zipper Hoody:
Basically it feels comfortable and looks cool, not much else to say.

If you want to post a product review, just reply to this.

Oh and an update on the wrist guard gloves. they're made out of goatskin, so if you're a vegetarian or something don't get them.

im thinking about getting straps but im not sure if they whould be good for peddling because you have to take your feet out to peddle, and im wondering if you can still do tricks where you take one foot out of the binding?
if anyone from GA rides add me

Dude I go everywhere with my Mountainboard and sometimes I just don't want to get off my Straps... in that cas i just rotate it and strap it on the toe side. Than it isn't distrub me. thats cool on streets.

If you mean peddling before a kicker to get the speed you can still get out on of your leg.... depending on your safetyness you can chose each of your leg just don't for get to make a nose roll right after you stop peddling... If you chose the nose roll version its more advanced you can lose stabilit y or speed if you can't control your noseroll perfectly. so for starting I advice to get out your regular paddling foot(esyer name is your back foot :) )

By the way the jumping... yep its still more comfortable at least one foot in heelstrap.... but much more dangerous. cus if you fall one leg can easyly slip out and than sayonara for your oth er one it can be serously hurt...

I advice you try to learn how to get speed on other modes like with small b ackrolls or try to make a little rollin from ground or wood whatever you fi nd at your starting place and then the paddling is not necesarely....  Or try not using any heelstraps...

I'm a healstrap user anyway, and i can speedup myself to great speed withou t peddling there are lots of way for that... its all more tireing than the peddling but more safety to jump to leg in h ealstrap. or without heelstrap. But the Safetyness chart is.

1.(most safety)  -   With Heelstrap
2.(safety)         -    Without Heelstrap
3.(not safety)    -    With one heelstrap

So my advice if you don't feel yourself expert enough to not fall while you  using only one heelstrap then don't use any or use all the too. Its extremely dangerous when one of your feet stick into the board and the  otherone slips out...

Of all the things I've lost,
I miss my mind the most.

Richard, great reviews on the products! This would actually be perfect if you were to make a blog post about these reviews. You could even add images to the blog post so that we could see the products you're reviewing. Nice work!

Oh and about the heelstraps.  You can peddle without taking our feet out.  Just move the nose of the board back and forth.  It takes a while to learn, but then it's helpful.

Yeah it's like tic tacing only a little harder cuz you have no leveridge on the tail of the board to your front foot does most of the work.
